Meet BBCC alumnus and scholarship recipient, Elizabeth Ramos. Elizabeth is a current student at Big Bend Community College pursuing her dream to become a teacher. She is a 2020-21 scholarship recipient of the BBCC Foundation-Returning Student, Flores Pass It On, PEO Chapter HY, and William Stredwick Memorial scholarships. Meet BBCC alumnus, Chance Flanigan. Chance graduated from Big Bend Community College in 2016 with his commercial, instrument, and private pilot certifications along with an Associate in Arts & Science degree. He was a 2015 scholarship recipient of the Biella Foundation, Sorenson Memorial, Returning Student, and the Workforce Education scholarships. Chance shares, "I wouldn’t have been able to be where I am today without your help. I am forever grateful for all the aid and support this scholarship has given to my family and me. I will never forget what you’ve done for me, and I will do my best to pay it forward.”
